The Consecration of the Human Being is held at 8:00 am almost every Wednesday
from September 11, 2025 through June 24, 2026 except during Synods, The Holy Nights,
Holy Week, and select other times. Email or Text Kerst deJong or Rev. Robert Bower as below to
confirm whether a service is happening.

The 8am services are held in the Crypt located in Fountain Hall.
Sometimes, on festival days, or the day after , a 9 am or 10:15 am service is held in the main hall.

Festival Seasons — 2025-2026
+ June 24 – July 25: ST. JOHNSTIDE

*During the Christmas Festival, also known as The Holy Nights, there will be no Wednesday services in The Village; however, daily services during the Holy Nights do occur at the Church in Hillsdale.

Sometimes a community gathering and potluck is hosted on the Friday afternoon &/or evening before the service. These events, as well as a weekly 10:30 am Sunday lay devotional service (for the weeks when there is no Consecration of the Human Being service) are also held at Nicodemus House. The Consecration of the Human Being is held at 10:30 am on the 1st Wednesday of the month from September through June (with some exceptions: for example March 25, 2026*) in the Hall on the top of the hill at Camphill Ghent.

We are evaluating whether we will take a break from services during the summer;
we will next establish our fall ‘26 restart date in the summer of ‘26.

Please note that in The Christian Community affiliate communities do not have a priest working full time, however the sacraments are celebrated at a somewhat regular interval by a priest visiting from one of our established communities. Currently, out of this, our Taconic/Berkshire Region Congregation, which is based in Hillsdale, NY, you can see in the above that we regularly visit: Pioneer Valley in MA, Vermont, The Finger Lakes in NY, Camphill Ghent, NY, and Camphill Village Copake, NY.
