After the service help us to welcome our intern, Lisa van Holsteijn
by bringing a dish to share for a festive potluck lunch!
Born in Scotland, Lisa, from Holland comes to us via Germany and arrives on Thursday the 18th.

Confirmation Classes Continue for 7th and 8th Graders.
Potluck, singing, class, then a Close of Day at 7:30 pm.
(The Close of Day Service is a vesper service to which all are invited.)

Classes will continue essentially every other week.
Oct. 5th & 19th, Nov. 2nd, 16th, and Dec. 14.
Child Care is now available during the Adult Service, for children ages 3-7.
Please bring a snack for your child and check-in with Emma Bauer Collett.
A Child Care position is still available at The Christian Community! We need one person who has experience with children ages 8-13, who could cover child care for this age group, during our Adult Service, from 10:25 until 11:40. This is a paid position!

The small group of people on the flower committee, who contribute to bringing the plant arrangements and flowers for the altar and foyer, is in need of more helpers. Please contact Annalee Riley or one of the priests if you would like to be more active in the church community by helping with the flowers.
